What can I expect at my first session?
Upon meeting your trainer, they will ask about you; your goals, injuries or mobility concerns, and your general health. Together you’ll create a workout plan that is targeted toward your needs and goals.
I am just starting an exercise routine, how will Personal Training benefit me?
Personal Training is great for those just starting out, individualized attention will give you more confidence in this new journey. Your trainer will inspire you every step of the way, modifying exercises to ensure you progress in a safe, effective way while having fun too.
I’m recovering from an injury, is Personal Training safe?
This is perhaps what makes our studio most special. Our trainers have direct access to amazing physical therapists. The collaboration between our physical therapists and personal trainers provides safer more effective results for you in your recovery process.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing with some stretch to it. You may do exercises that cause you to be inverted in certain poses, so fitted clothing often works best. No shoes or socks are necessary for yoga, but for strength training, we do recommend indoor sneakers. Please avoid applying fragrances or smoking before sessions.
What should I bring?
All props and equipment are provided. We recommend bringing a water bottle and your own yoga mat if you prefer. Bring a towel if your sessions are more rigorous or cardio-focused.
Can I workout with a friend or partner?
YES! We have prices for individual training and for small groups.
How early should I arrive for my session?
You should arrive early enough to give yourself time to get checked in, remove your shoes and coat, turn off your phone and set up.
What if I can’t make it to my scheduled session?
We require 48-hour notice of cancellation. We understand that emergencies or unexpected illnesses can happen and of course, will consider individual circumstances before charging for late cancelations. Of course, we will work with you to reschedule as needed.
Is your studio for women only?
Absolutely not! Though some of our programs are geared towards women, personal training is for everyone.
